Dr. Becky Gardiner, DNP, PMHNP-BC

Certified Equine Mental Health Professional

Dr. Becky Gardiner is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctorate from the University of Utah. Since 2021, she has taken a whole-person approach to healing—addressing the mind, body, and spirit. She specializes in faith-based psychotherapy and equine-assisted therapy for individuals battling depression, hopelessness, and suicidal thoughts. Her compassionate, Christ-centered care empowers clients to rediscover hope, identity, and purpose. 

Brixton Howcroft

With years of hands-on experience in horsemanship, livestock care, and equine rehabilitation, Brixton brings both skill and heart to every session. She is EAGALA-certified as an equine specialist and has a deep passion for equine-assisted therapy, believing in the healing power of horses for people of all ages. Since 2019, she has worked on her family’s farm, run her own horseback riding lesson program, and served as an intern at Elite Rehab & Conditioning. She also supports young learners as a paraprofessional and a local elementary school and holds multiple certifications in Animal Science, Equine Science, and Veterinary Assisting. A multi-title rodeo royalty winner and FFA entrepreneurship award recipient, she combines her love for horses with a commitment to helping others find confidence, peace, and connection through the work she does.

Resha Bartlett

Resha’s roots run deep in faith, family, and the quiet strength of country life. She has always loved horses, teaching, and sharing God’s truth—and she’s found a beautiful way to bring all three together as an equine team member at Soulful Strides Sanctuary. Resha is an intuitive teacher and mindset coach who brings warmth, insight, and encouragement to those she serves. With a degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University and a heart for lifelong learning, she has spent years helping others grow in wisdom, confidence, and purpose. As the founder of Candlestick Academy, Resha is passionate about helping individuals and families shine as their true, God-created selves. Still, her favorite place is home, fulfilling her highest calling as a wife to her best friend and homeschooling mother to their five children—soaking up the simple, daily blessings God provides.

Founder & President of the Board

Dr. Becky Gardiner founded Soulful Strides Sanctuary to bring healing and hope to individuals facing emotional pain, trauma, and grief. As President of the Board, she leads with a vision grounded in the sanctuary’s three healing pillars: Faith, Love, and Horses. Her professional background and personal mission have shaped Soulful Strides into a refuge for spiritual renewal and mental wellness. She is passionate about creating Christ-centered programs that restore lives and strengthen families.

Greg Gardiner

Greg Gardiner serves as the Vice President of Vernal Operations and Chief Nursing Officer at Uintah Basin Healthcare. With over 20 years of nursing experience and 16 years in leadership—including more than a decade as a Chief Nursing Officer—Greg brings a deep understanding of clinical care and operational strategy. He is passionate about improving access to high-quality healthcare in the Uintah Basin, combining clinical expertise and business insight to enhance patient safety and reduce the need for travel. A strong advocate for healthy living, Greg enjoys coaching high school basketball and raising three children with his wife, Becky, in the community they proudly call home.

Erin Hacking

Erin Hacking is a dedicated entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in business and accounting. Armed with certifications in both accounting and business, Erin brings a wealth of knowledge and practical expertise to every endeavor she undertakes. As the owner of her own successful business, she combines her financial acumen with a deep passion for natural healing.

Stephanie Guilbeau

Steph, a devoted mother of four boys, brings deep compassion and unwavering faith to her role as a board member. Grounded in her strong Christian beliefs, she is passionate about charity work and uplifting those around her through service and spiritual encouragement. Steph is committed to helping others grow closer to God and Jesus Christ, often dedicating her time to support individuals in strengthening their testimonies and living lives of faith and purpose.

Jackie Colton

Jackie Averett Colton has over 22 years of experience supporting students from various backgrounds as an educator. She is a wife, mother, and proud grandmother who values the importance of connection and compassion. Her love of reading, gardening, and time with family reflects her belief in the healing power of nature and relationships. She is honored to support the mission of equine therapy through her role on the board.

Shannon Seeley

Shannon has loved horses since she was a young girl and has enjoyed the peaceful feeling that can come from being around horses. She is passionate about the horse/human connection and understands the healing that can take place in such a setting. Ultimately, she knows that true healing comes only in and through Jesus Christ, the Master Healer. She loves spending time with her husband and children doing anything in the great outdoors.

Steven Judd Jr.

Steven was born and raised in Vernal, Utah. After graduating from Weber State University and the University of Central Missouri, he moved home to Vernal. He is a CPA and partner at Judd, Holdaway & Associates. He has been helping his clients with their taxes since 2010. Steven loves the Uintah Basin sense of community and the life it provides for his family. Every chance he gets he will spend family time fishing and being outdoors with his girlfriend, their daughter, and as many other family members and friends as he can find. He is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Soulful Strides team.
